What we collect

When you use BobIQ, we collect and process the following data:

  • Meeting recordings (audio and video) that you authorize for recording
  • Transcripts generated from those recordings
  • AI-generated meeting notes and analysis
  • Knowledge base entries you create or that are auto-extracted from meetings
  • Account information (workspace name, configuration preferences)
  • Usage metadata (timestamps, meeting counts, feature usage)

How we process your data

Your meeting data is processed using the following services:

  • Google Cloud Speech-to-Text for transcription
  • Google Gemini for AI-powered analysis, notes generation, and knowledge base management
  • Recall.ai for joining and recording meetings from your calendar

All processing happens on-demand when you record a meeting or request analysis. We do not run background processing on your data beyond what you initiate.

Third-party processors

  • Google Cloud Platform – storage, compute, AI services (Speech-to-Text, Gemini)
  • Recall.ai – meeting bot that joins and records authorized meetings

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share your data with anyone beyond the processors listed above.

No AI training

Your meeting data is never used to train AI models. Google Gemini API calls use your data solely to generate responses for your workspace. Your data is not retained by Google for model training.

Tenant isolation

Each workspace is fully isolated. Your data is stored in a dedicated tenant path within Google Cloud Storage. No cross-tenant data access is possible – other workspaces cannot see, search, or access your recordings, transcripts, notes, or knowledge base.

Data storage

  • Location: Google Cloud Storage, United States
  • Encryption: All data is encrypted at rest using Google-managed encryption keys
  • Transport: All data in transit is encrypted via TLS

Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you request account deletion, all recordings, transcripts, notes, knowledge base entries, and configuration data are permanently deleted from our systems.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access – request a copy of all data we hold about your workspace
  • Export – download your recordings, transcripts, and notes at any time
  • Deletion – request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data

Cookies

This website does not use cookies. We do not run analytics scripts or tracking pixels. There are no third-party trackers on this site.
